ABOUT

JIKO is a productivity app built to help you time your focus sessions, track meaningful goals, and see your own progress clearly over time.

Currently in public beta testing — some core features are still being polished, and analytics tools are in active development to give you clear, measurable insight into your own performance trends.

The Jiko Kaizen methodology

The word "jiko" (自己) means "self" in Japanese, and "jiko kaizen" describes a methodology of continuous self-improvement. JIKO takes its name from this philosophy, built on a few central pillars:

  • The 1% Rule: instead of chasing sudden transformations, focus on getting just 1% better every day.
  • Consistency over Intensity: small, repeatable habits beat occasional bursts of effort.
  • Process over Outcome: fall in love with the daily habit, not just the end goal.
  • Eliminate Waste: identify and remove the distractions and inefficiencies getting in your way.

JIKO's vision is to make your consistency visible, through an honest, ongoing record of the small choices that add up over time.

Feedback

If you've used JIKO for a few days already, I'd love to hear what kind of performance data you'd want to see about your habits. For example, I'm considering a monthly view of the dashboard's weekly chart, and letting you filter it to review each objective or habit separately.
